Q: I am organising a party or an event and would like to hire a Bouncy Castle. Why should I hire from you?

A: Because we put safety first and aim to help make your party or event both a safe and enjoyable experience for all, by providing quality inflatables and the highest level of customer service.

Q: I am organising an event. Do you provide a Risk Assessment.

A: Yes. Where one is asked for we will produce a Site Specific Risk Assessment and also provide a Method Statement for approval by the event organiser.

Q: How can I find out if your Bouncy Castles or Toddler Play Zone is available for the day of my party or event

A: Contact us as far in advance as possible, particularly if you are looking to book over a weekend or during the school holidays, as these are our busy periods. Q: How much will it cost to hire one of your inflatables?

A: The prices of our Castles, Play Zone, Didicars, Walk 'n Rides and Garden Games are shown on the gallery pages of this web site. We can also put together a package deal if you require more than one castle. Please note that an additional charge may be raised depending on the venue location and your preferred collection time.

Q: When will you deliver/collect?

A: We aim to deliver and collect at the times we agree with you, particularly where your venue is a hall and timing is critical. Provided we have a contact number we will always let you know if we are delayed by traffic

Q: How long does it take to set up and clear away?

A: About 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to clear away

Q: Do I need to supply anything?

A: No. All we ask is that you clear the area, and provide us with safe access to a standard 13Amp plug socket within 30m of where you want the inflatable located. Please note that where power is not available we can supply a generator, but this will incur an additional hire fee. Please ring to discuss.

Q: How much does it cost to run the inflatable?

A: About 25p per hour.

Q: Will the inflatable need to be supervised?

A: Yes. For safety reasons, B4 Bouncy Castles will only hire inflatables where the Hirer agrees to have a responsible adult (Over 18) supervising use of the unit at all times. We will provide a safety briefing as part of our setting up process, and answer any queries you may have at that time

Q: Can you provide a member of staff to supervise use of the inflatable?

A: Yes. We can provide male or female staff to supervise use of the inflatable during the period of hire should you wish. Our staff are suitably trained and CRB/DBA checked. Please contact us for details.

Q: What surface is required?

A: For inflatables that are being set up outdoors we require an area of flat grass so the unit can be securely staked down. For indoor hires we secure using sandbags

Q: Can your inflatables be set up on a concrete or tarmac surface?

A: Yes, but we need to be told in advance, so we can carry out a risk assessment and arrange for sand bags to be delivered with the inflatable

Q: How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?

A: The dimensions of our castles are given on our gallery page. You should allow an additional 2m to the back and front, and 1m to either side. For indoor hires, there should be at least 3.25m to the underside of the ceiling and 4.5m for the Adult Castle.

Q: What kind of access do you need when you deliver the castle?

A: Our castles are wheeled into position using a sack barrow, so we will need a standard size path to get the castle into your garden or venue. Please let us know if there are any steps, or parking restrictions so we can arrive suitably prepared.

Q: Can the bouncy castles go indoors?

A: Yes, all our inflatables can be used indoors, but you must check the hight of the ceiling before booking. Whilst height is not an issue for the Toddler Playzone, the Childrens themed castles require 3.25m and the Adult Castle requires 4.5m

Q: If someone gets injured who is to blame?

A: We are covered for Public Liability up to £5m. However, as per our terms and conditions, we cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or injury that may be caused whilst one of our inflatables is in your care. You, the Hirer, are the sole person responsible for the castle and it's use during the period of hire and, should anything happen, you may be held liable. Our public liability insurance only covers us should a claim result through the fault of our equipment, or our negligence

Q: Once the booking has been made, can I cancel?

A: Yes. For bookings cancelled more that six weeks in advance of the hire date any payment made will be refunded in full. For bookings cancelled during the six week lead up period to the hire date we reserve the right to charge the full fee unless we are able to secure another hire

Q: What if it is raining or blowing a gale on the day?

A: For outdoor hire: If it is raining or blowing a gale on the morning of hire, then please call us before 8am so we can agree whether to deliver or not. If we agree that it would be unsafe to proceed with the hire, then no charge will be made. Indoor hires should not be effected by the wind or by rain!

Q: How many children are allowed on the castle at any one time?

A: This depends on a number of factors such as the inflatable you wish to hire, and the age, height and confidence of the children that will be using it. Please contact us to discuss.

Q: Can I keep the bouncy castle over night?

A: Whilst we have no objection, in principle, to leaving a castle over night, this may be subject to an additional charge. Furthermore, we at B4 Bouncy Castles reserve the right to cancel the overnight part of the hire at any time should we consider our property to be at risk of damage or theft

Q: Can we collect and return ourselves?

A: No. As safety is paramount, B4 Bouncy Castles must deliver, set up and then collect. This enables our staff to carry out a site specific risk assessment for the location on delivery, and then instruct the Hirer on matters of safety. It also enables us to check the equipment for any sign of damage that may have been caused during the hire period.
